Bodybuilding Nutrition

Trying to gain weight when starting out can be very confusing. You know that you need bodybuilding nutrition and training but you just are not sure where to start. You end up getting suckered into some supplement or training program scam and end up losing hard earned cash and time. Now you have gained hardly any weight and you are not even sure if it is worth your time to continue on. Well let me tell you, gaining weight is easy once you know what you are doing, I hope I can help you see that with this article.

How you train is hands down the most important for gaining weight, everyone should know that. But not everyone knows how to train. They usually only use isolation exercises for lots of reps and never get anything productive out of their training. Instead, they should be using compound exercises with moderate reps being sure to get lots of volume. Training like that is sure to add some muscle to your body.

The most underrated aspect of gaining muscle is your bodybuilding nutrition. I am amazed at how underrated this truly is. Your nutrition should go way beyond a few supplements and a very limited variety of food. You need to eat lots and lots of food in order to gain weight that is simply how the body works. I recommend 500-1000 more calories a day than you are currently eating. I know that sounds like a ton, but it is needed if you truly want to gain weight.

Your supplementation also plays a role in your success in gaining weight. Most people have stacks of supplements they use, and while I am not fond of that, if it works for them, all the better. But for me, I only like to have about 3 different supplements. Those 3 being: whey protein, creatine, and fish oil. All 3 of those will do so much for your training that it is a must that you are using them. If you are incorporating those into your bodybuilding nutrition while also training hard, I have no doubt in my mind that you will grow!

I hope you see that gaining weight is a lot easier than it is made out to be. It does not take any state of the art methods or supplements, but rather hard training and good eating. As long as you have both smart training and good bodybuilding nutrition, you will gain weight, guaranteed.
